Before the test drive, I advised the salesperson in the rear seat that the Service Brake Assist light was on at the instrument panel. He advised that the light needed to be reset and he would have it taken care of. I returned to the showroom to complete the required paper work and the vehicle was cleaned and returned in front of the showroom. I drove the vehicle on [XXX] after driving a short distance the \"Service Brake Assist\" light again came on. I notified the service department on 6/1/2026 and drove the vehicle back to the dealership. The service advisor indicated he was going to have his best Technician repair the vehicle. I arrived at12:33 and the vehicle was completed at 12:56 PM I drove the vehicle back to my home without any issues. I left my home on [XXX] and as I turned onto the Interstate Highway, the light came on once again. After researching this issue, it is not advisable to drive the vehicle as the Antilock Braking System will not operate correctly. This vehicle should NOT have been available for any prospective customer to drive on the highway until the issue is corrected. The sales person should have verified that the brake issue was properly repaired before offering anyone a road test in the vehicle. The vehicle is currently at the Dealership.
