It is fortunate that this did not occur at highway speeds. The shaking was so intense that the head-up display on the windshield was visibly vibrating, and when I arrived home ( driving the one  mile at less than 35 mph as indicated on the dash), I discovered that one of the rear seats had folded itself down. The other likely remained upright only because a child booster seat was installed there (fortunately unoccupied).
