Mine was recently stolen, and there is currently no approved protection or deterrent offered by Honda to prevent this. Even after replacing it, the risk of it being stolen again remains very high. As a result, losing this sensor completely disables key Honda Sensing safety features, making the vehicle less safe to drive. On top of that, the replacement cost ranges from $1,500 to $3,000, despite the owner having no fault in the incident. The theft itself can be done in under two minutes.
