A recall for the issue is in place.  However, my VIN number is not included.  I took the vehicle to the closes GMC dealer and they replaced the fuel pump module.  Within 2 weeks, the engine light came back on.  I contacted the dealer and was instructed to keep driving the vehicle, the vehicle maybe resetting itself.  I did and the engine light went off.  Within 2 more weeks, the engine light came back on.  I took it to the dealer and now they are telling me I need a new fuel pump.
