I take my foot off the gas but the engine continues racing, and the car keeps increasing in speed.  The last time it happened I almost ran into the car in front of me.  I slammed hard on the brakes to try and stop the momentum.  I heard a loud pop and the accelerator eventually returned to normal, but it took 4 or 5 seconds.  The local Nissan Dealer cannot find any problems, and cannot repeat the problem despite numerous test drives.  The car is less than halfway through a 39 month lease.  I have contacted Nissan Customer Care and hope to have them buy back the lease without any cost to me.  I am afraid to drive the car and it is currently sitting in the Dealer\u2019s parking lot.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"NISSAN","productModel":"MURANO","manufacturer":"Nissan North America, Inc."}]}]}
