We were traveling home on I-10 about an hour from the Texas Border. My wife was driving about 70-75mph. We had to loud pops and the truck started shaking badly. The pickup was purchased in May 2021 with 26,450 miles. It has been well maintained, so the lifter failure was a complete surprise. We booked a room at a local hotel (3 nights total). The towing company took it to the local Chevrolet Dealership. The dealership couldn't even look at it for over a week. My brother in-law drove 6 hours from our home with a trailer and we hauled it home. We scheduled an appointment with our purchasing dealership and dropped it off. It took a week to get the diagnoses. It was a lifter failure. Our warranty company authorized an engine replacement, but the dealership wanted to just do a cam shaft and lifter. We were without our truck for over a month. It then cost us $300 plus for componets not covered.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"SILVERADO 1500","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
