On XXX, at approximately 3:00 PM PST, the moonroof of my vehicle suddenly exploded while I was driving on the freeway. At the time of the incident, there were no objects, debris, rocks, or other vehicles near my car that could have impacted the moonroof. The glass shattered unexpectedly without any apparent external cause.  The vehicle was subsequently inspected by Honda Auto Center in Bellevue, Washington. Following their inspection, no evidence of an external impact, stone strike, road debris, or any other outside factor was found. Apart from the shattered moonroof, there is no other damage to the vehicle. Based on these findings, I believe this may be the result of a manufacturing or material defect.  This incident has rendered the vehicle unsafe to operate. Continued driving causes the moonroof glass to crack further, increasing the risk of glass fragments becoming dislodged. As a result, I am unable to use the vehicle for commuting to work. Additionally, given the frequent rainfall in the Seattle area, leaving the vehicle parked outdoors in its current condition exposes it to potential water damage.  Most importantly, this situation presents a significant safety hazard. There is a risk that glass fragments could fall from the vehicle while driving, potentially endangering me, my passengers, and other motorists on the road. The sudden failure of the moonroof itself was also alarming and could have caused a loss of concentration or control while driving.
