The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle unexpectedly decelerated to 30 MPH and the vehicle loss motive power. A dealer was contacted. An undisclosed  warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the engine needed to be replaced, and that the engine was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The contact was informed that the warranty would not cover the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure had occurred on several occasions.
