I stepped on the brake and it felt \"squishy\" but did stop the vehicle (it only feels this way when the uncontrolled acceleration is happening).  Once was pulling into our driveway and it almost rearended my husband pick up. It also has happened several other times. It seems like it only happens when making a turn.
