On June 22, 2026, at approximately 11:48 a.m., while driving at highway speed, the vehicle was operating normally with no warning lights, messages, or other indications of a problem. I began hearing a metallic clanking or knocking noise from the engine area. The noise progressively increased in volume and severity over approximately ten minutes as I reduced speed and looked for a safe location to pull over. My intention was to reach the dealership if possible; however, as I slowed to approximately 15 mph to make a turn, the noise stopped abruptly, the engine shut off, and the vehicle displayed a message instructing me to press the Start button again. The vehicle came to a complete stop at approximately 11:58 a.m. I attempted to restart the vehicle once, but it did not restart. No additional restart attempts have been made. There were no warning lights displayed prior to the engine shutting down, and there were no visible fluid leaks underneath the vehicle after it came to a stop. The vehicle received a routine oil change on June 16, 2026, approximately three days before this incident. I have retained the service receipt and all related documentation. The vehicle will be transported by flatbed tow truck to an authorized Chevrolet dealership for diagnosis and repair under warranty.
