Because the screen is completely blank, I am entirely unable to see critical safety information while driving, including my speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.  Despite my vehicle experiencing the exact internal short circuit defect outlined in the official recall report, my vehicle is being excluded from free repairs because the manufacturer narrowed the scope based on the vehicle's \"time in service.\" A local Jeep dealership has diagnosed the vehicle and confirmed the cluster needs to be replaced, but quoted me out-of-pocket costs to fix it.
