The lever clicks into position as it should, but it does not initiate the high beam mode. It will work first thing in the morning when I start my car, but after three or four minutes, the highbeams disengage and goes back to low beam. When I use the flash-to-pass mode by pulling the lever toward me, the highbeams do work. The problem began about two weeks ago when driving home at night, I had no highbeams which was a safety issue. I have not taken my vehicle to the dealership for anyone to take a look at the issue yet. From what I’ve read it seems like it’s a problem with the multifunction switch in which other 2024 Jeep grand Cherokees had a recall. I don’t abuse my vehicle components. In fact, I’m probably extra careful to use them properly and I use them with ease. My car is still under warranty. Is this something that is typically covered under warranty? I cannot seem to find a recall for the matter. My Vin number returns zero recalls.
