The van will stall and the dashboard lights up with many symbols. To briefly include, a red exclamation, check engine and battery symbol among others.  The car has to be completely shut down and restarted to turn over and function. Obviously an unexpected stalled vehicle in traffic is a significant and potentially injurious or deadly  problem. This has been happening periodically since Jan 2026 on a 1 year old van with approximately 12k miles. I have asked the dealer to investigate and they claim no error codes and the battery is ok. I suspect either a starter, brake pedal issues, or software update is needed. I would encourage the NHTSA to issue a recall or service bulletin as a quick google search reveals this is a common issue on newer Odyssey vans.
