Recently, the airbag warning light illuminated, so I brought the vehicle to an Infiniti dealership for diagnosis.  I was informed that the issue is a known problem involving the seat frame and that the recommended repair is replacement of the seat frame. I was then quoted approximately $11,000 for the repair.  I purchased this vehicle less than a year ago and am extremely concerned that a component critical to the airbag system has failed at such low mileage. More importantly, I have been advised that the airbag system will not work while this condition exists, creating what I believe to be a significant safety hazard.  Given the low mileage of the vehicle, the reported history of this issue, and the potential impact on occupant safety, I am requesting that Infiniti review this matter.
