I took it to my Honda dealer; they told me that my electronic steering system failed and was a hazard to drive. They said that my complete steering system needed to be replaced. They said my vin number wasn't on the recall list, but newer CRV models with the same failure had a safety recall. My CRV was out of warranty and not covered by the recall. I had to get the steering replaced and it cost me $5000.00! Why wasn't my CRV with the same steering failure covered.
