The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The vehicle routinely displays 'Electric Temporarily Unavailable'. When it happens, I press the accelerator and the vehicle does not respond; there is a delay of several seconds with little or no power before the gas engine engages. This is a serious safety hazard \u2014 the loss of power is sudden and unpredictable, and the delay leaves me unable to accelerate when merging or pulling into traffic. The condition is reproducible and began after the 68C recall software update. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platforms as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350,000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer multiple times; each visit results in 'no codes found' and 'operating as designed,' and it has not been repaired.
