When the light turned green I attempted to make a left turn.  The Jeep was in E-Save mode, but the gas engine was not on at the time.  I stepped on the accelerator, but the vehicle moved very slowly through the turn, no matter how hard I pressed down on the accelerator (electric motor engaged at this time).  I feared that I would get struck by other vehicles due to the very slow rate of speed.  When I cleared the intersection, the gas motor finally turned on and supplied me with the required amount of acceleration.
