I was in the left lane, traveling at a speed of approximately 55 mph.  The Jeep was in Electric Mode.  I attempted to accelerate so that I could get around a tanker truck.  I pressed down on the accelerator, but my speed only went up to 56 mph before slowly starting to come down.  I pressed harder on the accelerator, but my speed continued to drop.  There was a vehicle traveling close behind me that was clearly getting aggravated by my slow speed (posted 65mph zone).  I came off the accelerator and moved into the right lane.
