While driving, the vehicle displayed a message that cruise control had been disabled. As the vehicle began slowing down, I pressed the accelerator pedal, but the gas pedal did not respond.  I had to carefully move over to the right as the vehicle continued slowing, then pull over to the side of the road. Fortunately, there was a safe place available for me to pull over.  After stopping, I turned off the engine, waited approximately one minute, then restarted the vehicle. After restarting, the vehicle operated normally again.  I contacted Hyundai. They stated there was no specific update for this exact issue, but they did advise that there was an update for the steering cluster.
