The idle system kicked and the vehicle turned off, as expected. Upon lifting my foot off the brake, the vehicle failed to start and the car went into park. I was unable to restart the car after holding the brake pedal down and pressing the start button multiple times. After many failed attempts, I shut off the power to the vehicle, waited a min or so and restarted the vehicle. I then put the car in drive and continued thru the intersection. This was in a busy intersection and could have easily caused an accident, but thankfully it did not.
