While driving out of state during the evening of XXX, the car made a large thud noise and the passenger rear side of the car dropped.  We stepped out of the vehicle and the passenger rear coil spring was lying in the road.  The car had not been in any accidents or had any damage.  The spring simply dislodged and fell to the ground while we were driving.  We had the Jeep towed to Jeff Wyler dealership in Columbus and provided them the spring that had fallen off.  The dealership's number is [XXX].    We had to rent a car to return to Grand Rapids Michigan and still need to find a way to bring the Jeep home when the repaid is made.
