Then last week my car lost power on the interstate, during rush hour. I'm lucky I didn't cause an accident as the loss of power was so sudden and all the traffic around me. Somehow I was able to safely pull over on the shoulder. I had my car towed and the mechanic found that the flex plate had failed and is cracked. As a result the car will no longer start. The recall letter that my mechanic found stated that a rough idle was one of the symptoms of a failing flex plate. My vehicle is 10 years and 3 months old but only has 93000 miles. The dealership said they won't cover it because it is out of date and their customer service line was no help. There were no warning lights or codes that appeared on the display screen. My mechanic found the issue by taking somethings apart.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2016","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"EDGE","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
