Over the past few weeks, I have been experiencing a grinding/creaking noise when turning the steering wheel, particularly during low-speed right turns and when the steering wheel is turned while reversing. The noise also occurs occasionally steering forward and has become progressively louder and more frequent.  In addition to the noise, the steering wheel intermittently catches or sticks while driving straight and then making a slight steering correction and also when turning in a fixed position. When this occurs, the steering wheel requires noticeably more force than normal to move, especially to the right. This creates inconsistent steering feel and raises concerns about vehicle control and safety.  I had the vehicle inspected by my mechanic, who diagnosed the issue as a defective steering rack worm gear. Based on this diagnosis, the recommended repair is replacement of the complete steering rack assembly.  Given the relatively low mileage of this vehicle and the potential safety implications of intermittent steering binding, I believe this represents a defect in the steering system that should be investigated.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"CR-V","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
