The van will not start up again after parking. There is no pattern and no cause we have found. Sometimes it happens 3-4 times in a week and other times it happens once in a month. Sometimes after stopping at a stop light or stop sign, the van will not respond to the gas pedal and will simply idle into an intersection which has almost caused several accidents.  We have not had it inspected at a dealership because we cannot afford it.
