The recommendation was to replace all spark plugs and ignition coils. This work was performed and the code was cleared. In a few days the same code re-appeared. I took our Edge to a Ford dealership in Clarksville TN. The diagnosis is that the engine suffers from coolant intrusion in cylinder #2. The dealership wants $10,000 to replace the long block. Since this is a known manufacturer defect by Ford Motor Company shouldn't we receive some financial assistance to have this engine replaced. The vehicle has 80000 miles on it.
