Over the course of a few months, occasionally we saw warning dashlights come on, and had sluggish engine performance. We took it for diagnostic testing at two Honda Dealerships. Both determined it needed a new head gasket and turbo charge unit, costing about $8-10K to repair, depending on what they saw when they disassembled it. Contacted American Honda for hardship/goodwill relief but was denied support. Upon research, we have found that the 2017 and 2018 Honda 1.5 turbo charge engines have experienced significant issues and has a flawed design that allows fluids to mix, causing this type of engine failure. We regularly maintained this vehicle with recommended oil changes and tire rotations.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2017","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"CR-V","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
