There is currently a Toyota Service Bulletin for the exact same issue for the Toyota highlander (TSB-0017-24) which address the issue \"Hesitation felt while accelerating at low speeds.\" And the fix involves a software update for the engine control unit. Since there is no official documentation for the Toyota crown platinum which shares the same engine configuration, Toyota refuses to provide a resolution.
