After driving the vehicle in Sport mode, parking, and restarting, the dashboard prompts me to return to Sport mode. When I select \"Yes,\" the dashboard indicates that the vehicle has switched to Sport mode. However, the vehicle silently reverts to Normal mode, which has a much more relaxed braking pattern for 1-pedal driving than the expected, shorter braking path of Sport mode.  Compounding the danger, this issue occurs inconsistently. Sport mode occasionally does stick upon restart, which creates a false and dangerous level of confidence in the system.
