The automatic braking system was turned off, and the vehicle was later driven to the local dealer. The local dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure and advised to deactivate the Collision Avoidance System. The contact sustained a neck injury during the failure while seated in the driver\u2019s side rear seat. Medical attention was required.
