Started with some electronic sounds at extremes of turning radius but subsequently failed completely and rendered car undriveable.   Hyundai repair center attributed this to \"excessive dirt and dust\" or some external force, but was unable to substantiate or demonstrate any damage to parts they say need replacing.  Ultimately this remains undiagnosed with regards to cause but dealer clearly identifies need to replace P/S motor and rack and pinion assembly.    Insurance inspection documents no sign of external involvement in the failure.  No warning lights/messages.  Problem is repeatable.
