This failure occurred at only 37,000 miles, which is well below the expected lifespan of a major fuel system component.  A sudden loss of engine power while operating at speed poses an immediate safety hazard, increasing the risk of a rear-end collision or leaving the vehicle stranded in active traffic. The fuel pump had to be replaced immediately to restore the vehicle to a safe operating condition.  The original failed component was replaced by an independent repair facility, and all itemized repair orders and proof-of-payment receipts have been retained. I am logging this complaint to urge NHTSA to investigate a potential manufacturing defect in 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee fuel delivery systems.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2021","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND CHEROKEE","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
