Without warning, a cascade of simultaneous error messages illuminated on the dashboard, completely disabling the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist networks.This defect renders critical safety features completely inoperable and causes severe driver distraction due to persistent dashboard warnings flashing on the loop. This failure occurred when turning on the car. The sudden loss of safety systems while traveling at highway speeds poses an unreasonable risk of a crash, as the vehicle can no longer utilize automatic emergency braking or lane assistance features.The vehicle currently has about 88000 miles. The dealership has indicated the issue stems from a failure of the front-facing windshield camera sensor, matching the systematic defect patterns alleged in active federal class-action litigation against Honda. I am requesting that the NHTSA formally investigate this widespread camera component failure to mandate a safety recall.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"PILOT","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
