I was driving thru a neighborhood at 25 mph in 5th gear, lifted off the gas pedal as I approached a 90 degree uphill turn, and in the middle of the turn (approx 20 mph) the engine stalled and I lost all propulsion.  I retired from Stellantis after 16 years working as a contract transmission calibrator, so I am very familiar with what happened.  When I lifted off the gas pedal the engine attempted to enter decel fuel shut off (dfso).  I was watching the real time gas mileage and right before the corner I saw the mpg approaching 99 mpg (a clear indication the engine is entering fuel shut off).  A second later the real time mpg started decreasing (indicating it was attempted to exit dfso) when the stall occurred.
