He did some searching and found that there is a safety-related issue and to take it to a dealer for repair. I have only had this jeep barely over two years. I have been smelling the car hot while driving it or after turning it off. Even my daughter has commented on it.  There has only been one dash light come on but I don't remember what it was. My mechanic is keeping an eye on it.
