The condition occurs randomly and is not present on every trip. While stopped at stop signs or intersections with my foot firmly on the brake pedal, I can feel the engine pushing against the brakes because of the elevated idle speed. When I release the brake pedal, the vehicle accelerates forward significantly faster than it normally would at idle. The engine speed eventually returns to a normal idle after several minutes of driving, but during the event the vehicle behaves unpredictably. This has occurred on both flat roads and hills.  I have documented the condition on video showing the tachometer at approximately 1,500 RPM while the vehicle is stopped and my foot is on the brake. The vehicle was inspected by an authorized Hyundai dealership and remained there for approximately one week. The dealership was unable to reproduce the condition during testing and returned the vehicle without repairs. No warning lights or messages have appeared.
