The jeep skidded and fish taled slightly before coming to a complete stop and I avoided hitting the deer.  The ABS system did not work.   Ironically, the ABS and Traction Control lights had come on occasionally but would then go off.  It's hit or miss whether these lights come on when you start the vehicle.   We took the jeep to Barnes Automotive in Westminster Maryland and they diagnosed that the ABS module (Part 68259556AE) was bad and needed to be replaced.  They said they tested it by clearing the error, but then after driving it around town, the error would appear again.  They informed me that there is a national shortage of the part and they estimated there is a 90 day backorder.  I can't wait 3 months to not drive the vehicle so they let me know just to be aware the vehicle will be ok to drive but to know that it doesn't have ABS if I need to make any sudden stops.  Sounds like a very common issue with Jeep Wranglers.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"WRANGLER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
