The technician struggled with the mechanical override to open the car, but was able to force it eventually.  He explained the 12V battery was dead.  There was nothing left on that would have drained the battery.  Incident two:  The following week, I was able to enter the vehicle and turn it partially on but was not able to drive the car and after I turned off the power, I was trapped in the vehicle.  Lexus roadside assistance came again and jump-started the 12V battery.
