Over a 23-day period, a Faulkner Nissan, a certified Nissan dealer mismanaged a severe water intrusion defect. On April 28, 2026 (102,965 miles), I was charged $1,228.67 out-of-pocket for recall-related burnt and shorted harness connectors (Recall 22V024000 / R21B9). On May 13, 2026 (104,656 miles), the vehicle returned with electronic and steering errors; the dealer cleared active CAN codes and dismissed the issue. On May 21, 2026 (105,060 miles), the vehicle suffered a catastrophic failure. Ongoing water intrusion completely flooded the driver and passenger floorboards, rusted the structural floor, destroyed the previous repair, and shorted out the vehicle's tail lights.
