The critical issue is the abrupt and uncommanded loss of propulsion during active vehicle operation. Had this event occurred under different driving conditions\u2014such as highway speeds, dense traffic, or an intersection\u2014the potential safety consequences could have been severe, including elevated risk of collision.  A propulsion loss of this nature represents a potential safety hazard to vehicle occupants and surrounding road users.
