Both windshields require(d) replacement due to long migrating cracks. There are several issues with the windshields on the TX350 per online searches. The windshields are a laminated acrylic one that are prone to cracks requiring replacement. This is a common issue on the TX350. The windshields are on long back orders for a genuine Lexus part. We are having our second windshield replaced on XXX at the Lexus dealer. I am of the opinion that this issue should be looked into by NHTSA for a potential recall and improved manufacturing process for future original equipment and genuine Lexus replacement. Our TX350 will be available for inspection on XXX at Parker Lexus in Little Rock Arkansas. The approximate cost to replace the windshield is $1850.00. We are not claiming the windshield on our insurance for this replacement for fear of potentially being cancelled by our insurance company.
