Vehicle has only 6,000 miles on it. The panel then drags on the ground and has risk of breaking off and flying off behind the vehicle. In our case, it just dropped when my daughter drove vehicle into the driveway, but if this happened at highway speeds it could be very bad. - Confirmation: Discussed it with Honda service technician. Their only response was that they cannot re-engineer the vehicle, they can only slide panel back in place as use existing clips. - Inspected: By Honda dealer/service tech. - There were no warnings or indications of the problem, only the noise of the panel dragging on the ground. Other owners have indicated same problem on Facebook and on Reddit. See the following links: Facebook: [XXX] Reddit: [XXX] The ridiculous recommendation is to just slide it back in place. But there is no guarantee that it will not just slide out again every few months or weeks.
