Recently, the drivers seat belt was found to be shredding in two places. I did a search for open recalls on seal belt fabrics but there are none.  I do not know what to do about it. I have placed thin shipping tape over the rips and tears.  It appears that something in the roll up mechanism is tearing the seat belt.  Please help me.
