After driving only 53,000 miles on the new corporate engine component, the vehicle began shaking violently and suffered a sudden, dangerous loss of power while driving, rendering it completely inoperable (it is sitting in my driveway unable to be driven). The vehicle threw critical fault codes P050B (Cold Start Ignition Timing) and P061B (Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance). Diagnostics indicate a terminal internal failure of the timing chain or torque converter. This vehicle has a severe, documented history of manufacturing and safety defects, including catalyst monitor sensor failure 08/23/16, fan relay failure 11/20/18, purge valve failure 02/27/21, a total loss of brakes while driving on 02/15/22 due to a rear caliper failure, a faulty throttle body on 03/06/22, and an incorrectly installed engine wiring harness by the dealership when engine was replaced. This list is not all inclusive.  I have a 1.5\" binder of repairs and services dating back to purchase date which are too numerous to attach. This failure directly mirrors the engine defect patterns currently being evaluated under NHTSA Defect Petition DP26008 / ODI 11754989.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"EDGE","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
