On September 12, 2026, while parked at the top level of a parking garage, the vehicle unexpectedly began rolling forward after being parked and exited. The vehicle subsequently struck a concrete wall. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? On September 12, 2026, my son parked the vehicle on the top level of a parking garage. He exited the vehicle while I remained seated in the rear seat and his girlfriend remained in the front passenger seat. I later moved to the driver's seat to speak with her. As I exited the vehicle to meet my son, the vehicle unexpectedly started rolling forward on its own. Nothing was touched or intentionally activated prior to the vehicle moving. Because the vehicle began moving while I was exiting, I fell and suffered injuries including a scraped knee, swelling and injury to my foot, pain in my hands, and abrasions on my arm. The vehicle continued rolling and struck a concrete wall, causing damage to the front of the vehicle. The unexpected vehicle movement placed me, the passenger, and other nearby individuals at risk of serious injury. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I am reporting these incidents for investigation. The vehicle is available for inspection by Chevrolet, the dealer, NHTSA investigators, insurance representatives, or other authorized parties. No warning lamps, messages, or other alerts were observed prior to the Rear Automatic Braking events or the vehicle roll-away incident. The braking events and vehicle movement occurred unexpectedly and without warning. I no longer feel safe operating this vehicle.
