BACKUP CAMERA, 2025 BUICK ENVISTA.  The vehicle is subject to a critical safety recall, but the manufacturer and authorized dealerships have failed to make the necessary replacement parts or software remedies available within a reasonable timeframe. I have contacted the manufacturer and my local dealership, but I have been informed that parts/remedies are unavailable, or I have been given an indefinite timeline for the repair.   As a result, I am forced to drive a vehicle with a known, un-remedied safety hazard, posing an immediate risk to myself, my passengers, and others on the road. Under federal law (49 U.S.C. Chapter 301), manufacturers are required to remedy safety defects within a reasonable time after notification. The current delay constitutes a failure to comply with this statutory obligation.   I request that NHTSA investigate General Motors' delay in distributing this safety recall remedy and compel the manufacturer to provide an immediate fix, an interim safety solution, or a loaner vehicle until my vehicle can be made safe.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"BUICK","productModel":"ENVISTA","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
