The check engine light comes on intermittently and the engine can run roughly. After a stall, restarting can restore operation, but the issue recurs. Unexpected power loss in highway traffic puts occupants and other road users at risk. The exact failed component is UNKNOWN.  The vehicle had repeated prior visits to Genesis of Auburn without resolving the concern. Southtowne Hyundai and Genesis of Newnan held it from August 19 to September 4, 2026. Repair order 184931 documents the stalling complaint and reports of misfires on cylinders 2, 4 and 6. It records multiple test drives, inability to duplicate the concern, and no stored or active diagnostic trouble codes at that visit. The vehicle was returned without a repair for this concern.  On September 9, 2026, five days after pickup, the same stalling/loss of power recurred. The Genesis diagnostic system reported P0300, P0302, P0304 and P0306 at 67,847 miles immediately afterward. I sent Genesis Consumer Affairs videos and the diagnostic information that day.  On September 16 I requested another appointment and a loaner because of the continuing highway stalling. After a September 21 follow-up, the dealer offered late October diagnostics with no rental. Genesis later offered an expedited September 23 appointment; I requested September 24 because of a transportation constraint. The condition remains unresolved as of this report.
