After purchasing the vehicle, the operating system wouldn't remember the settings for the selected driver and would randomly changing settings.  At one point, the turn signals on the vehicle stopped working because of the issues with the operating system. This is a direct violation of safety laws and effectively deemed the vehicle undriveable. The vehicle was serviced by the dealer, at which point they stated that there was a communication issue in the vehicle and that it was solved.  The vehicle then performed well for about six months, but is now exhibiting the same issues, but manifesting in different ways.  One example is where the displayed speed of the vehicle on the dash doesn't align to GPS speed readouts, and the value changing between startups.  On a recent trip, I had the speed set by cruise control at 80mph on the dash, however was confirmed at 76 via GPS.  After stopping and restarting the vehicle, I set the cruise back at 80, and now the GPS showed 79.  This tells me that the operating system of the vehicle is randomly choosing how fast the vehicle is actually traveling, and how many miles are being put on the car. If the manufacturer can control this, they can determine how quickly vehicles achieve certain mileage benchmarks without the public being aware.  This is very much a safety concern, in addition to BMW committing fraud. I have zero tolerance for an organization committing fraud.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"BMW","productModel":"X3","manufacturer":"BMW of North America, LLC"}]}]}
