Since less than a month after purchasing this vehicle, I have experienced recurring fuel-system-related vibrations, excessive rattling, and a check-engine light. Despite numerous visits to the dealership, repeated complaints, and ongoing communication with the service department, this issue remains unresolved. Initially, I was told that the noise might be coming from the gas tank cover and that I may not have been closing it properly. At first, the vibration was relatively subtle, but within three to four months, it became progressively louder and more noticeable. I initially suspected that something in my trunk was loose or causing the vibration. My husband removed everything from the trunk and drove the vehicle on multiple occasions, confirming that the noise was coming from the vehicle itself. I repeatedly returned to the dealership, but I was initially told that the technicians could not identify the source of the noise. As the issue continued, I began recording the sound and documenting when it occurred. I consistently noticed that the vibration and rattling would begin approximately one to two days after refueling. The noise has become so severe that it can be heard through the vehicle's speakers, even with the windows closed and the music playing. Eventually, Matt from the dealership was able to hear the noise and identify that it was associated with the fuel tank area, with the suspected issue extending toward the front of the vehicle. I was advised that he would follow up with BMW engineers. However, it has now been more than six months since the engineering team became involved, and despite my continued efforts to obtain answers and a resolution, no meaningful corrective action has been taken. The recurring vibration, rattling, and check-engine light are not merely inconveniences. They raise serious concerns","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2026","productMake":"BMW","productModel":"X2","manufacturer":"BMW of North America, LLC"}]}]}
