It also has had prior issues with a passenger weighing 120lbs. The sensor only works when the 102lb passenger slams her body weight down on the seat and then immediately buckles in. This puts her safety at risk. Rivian has inspected the seat and sensor twice and refused to replace for fear of the same problem happening again anyway.
