Response: Response: Doors can’t be opened from outside as doors are permanently locked, plus doors must be manually manipulated from the inside to open versus pressing a button. I am concerned as this affects the child lock and can trap the occupants in the case of an accident.  Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center?  Response: Response: Yes, confirmed by the dealer. This issue has been occurring multiple times since 2018 and is currently an issue. I have documentation of this fact.  Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others?  Response:Yes. Inspected and confirmed this is an issue by the dealer.  Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear?
